What changes for the 35 PMP training hours on December 1, 2026?
From 1 December 2026, PMI counts live-class training hours only when the course is delivered by a PMI Authorized Training Partner, a China Registered Education Provider or an accredited academic program. Training you finish before that date still counts from any provider, and self-paced courses from any organization remain eligible.
How do you keep the PMP certification?
PMP is valid for three years. To renew it you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) in that cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements program and pay the renewal fee, which PMI shows when you log in to your account.
Is PMP relevant for IT professionals?
